Police’s application forces court to ‘call off’ judgement on Evans

Chucks Olateju, Lagos.

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has adjourned the N300m Fundamental Rights Enforcement Suit brought by billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike , popularly known as Evans, against the Nigerian Police Force to September 5th.

It would be recalled that the court had at the last sitting on the matter, fixed August 29th to deliver its judgment.

However, Justice Abdulaziz Anka, rather than delivering the judgement, chose a new date following an applications brought by the police, seeking to set aside delivering of the judgement among others.
