Crisis looms in Oyo ADC as Ladoja, Koleosho impose “Yesmen” as Execs

A  group within the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State has berated former Governor of the Senator Rasheed Ladoja and Chief Chief Michael Koleosho for attempt to destabilise the party over an alleged plans to impose his loyalists as the executives of the party.

The group, in a statement signed by its chairman, Alhaji Karimu Iyiola,  condemned Senator Ladoja and Chief Koleosho for allegedly perfecting plans to hijack the machinery of the party by jettisoning democratic tenets.

The group urged Senator Ladoja and chief Koleosho not to destabilize the Africa Democratic Congress ADC with their self serving attitude and imposition of party executives .

The group know as Frontline Solidarity movement posited that Senator Ladoja who left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because he was not allowed to have his way, has concluded plans to impose his loyalists as the state executives of the Africa Democratic Congress.

FSM also alleged that Senator Ladoja is working with Chief Koleosho a former Secretary to the Oyo state government, who himself has lost political relevance in the Oke Ogun region to impose their will on the people

The group assured that any attempt by the few, who claim to be elders would impose their will on majority will be restricted in the Africa Democratic Congress, ADC.

The group maintained that there will not be any problem if the duo of Senator Ladoja and Chief Koleosho intend to install their stogies as the executives of the party through the lay down procedures noting that “but to attempt to impose party executives on the rest of us who are obviously in the majority, will be met with vehement resistance by the Frontline Solidarity Movement.”

The group said its members will explore all necessary means within the law to ensure that Senator Rashidi Ladoja and Chief Michael Koleosho do not impose their ‘Yesmen’ on the party.

Alhaji Karimu called on the national Chairman of the party Okey Nwosu and other party well meaning leaders of the Africa Democratic Congress not to allow the culture of impunity, imposition and godfatherism which some party leaders have exhibited in the past and has achieved for them little or no result to hold sway in ADC.

The group describe as unfortunate the attitude of  Senator Rashidi Ladoja and Chief Michael Koleosho who have continued to act against simple democratic principles instead of helping democratic principles to thrive.

Frontline Solidarity movement therefore commended some of the leaders of the party who are not in support of imposition attitude of Senator Ladoja and Chief Michael Koleosho, by ensuring that the proposed state Congress where they intended to foist their undemocratic decision on the party, was postponed.

FSM urged Senator Ladoja and Chief Koleosho not be deceived by an exaggerated impression of their electoral worth, as it is obvious that they are living on past glory, stressing that the Oyo state ADC will win the coming elections with or without the likes of Senator Ladoja and Koleosho.
