The Kwara state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun has charged all those that took part in the last weekend looting of Government and private properties to return all their loots in their own interest.
This is just as the police command paraded 144 suspected hoodlums arrested who looted government and private properties in the state.
Parading the suspects at the Police Headquarters in Ilorin, the state Commisssioner of Police Kayode Egbetokun said all the suspects were arrested with looted items in their posession.
According to him the command will ensure all those who looted public and private properties are arrested and the stolen items recovered.
Egbetokun said the arrest will be a continuous exercise in the nooks and crannies of the State.
He explained that the Police in collaboration with other security agencies will ensure no culprit is allowed to escape.
The Commisssioner advised those in possession of the stolen items to willingly surrender them to the police.
He said whoever return those items willingly Will be pardon .
Egbetokun called on members of the public to volunteer information to the police to enable it arrest the run away suspects.
