Engr. Yinka Makanjuola joins APC in Omu-Aran ward 1.

Contrary to insinuations that he has remained apolitical, Engr. Yinka Makanjuola has teamed up with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his Omu-Aran ward 1.

In what appears to be a further boost to the popularity of the party in the area, he was warmly welcomed by the executives of the party at the Local Government and ward levels as well as members.

The uniqueness of his joining the party in his ward lies on the fact that he has always being a progressive and a straight forward person.

Speaking at the meeting, Engr. Makanjuola pledged his loyalty and determination to use his intellect and God given resources to attract friends, like-minds, associates, other political party symphatiizers into the party in the ward and by extension, Irepodun Local Government Area.

Engr. Yinka Makanjuola who is the Chief Executive Officer of Bitt Shelter Limited and Managing Director of Doja Line Transport Services Limited assured the executives and members that his spirit has always being with the progressives as he has always contributed in Ilorin and Abuja where his businesses are based.

A Federal University of Technology graduate of Civil/Building Engeering with vast experiences in projects vowed that he would not relent in adding values to the prospects of the party now and beyond.

He added that his five years secondary education at Government Secondary School, Omu-Aran has placed him at advantage of closeness to his root. Thus, he said that each time he is far from Omu-Aran, he feels nostalgia of home. This, he said informed his attendance of almost all the sociocultural functions in the town regularly.

Welcoming Engr. Makanjuola into the APC, the Local Government Chairman of the party, Hon. Oyeyemi Aransiola said that Engr. Makanjuola is not new to most members of the party. He implored him to use his clout and contacts to benefit the party and its members for good..

While Omu-Aran ward 1 Chairman of the party, Mr. Oyinloye Jacob described Engr. Yinka Makanjuola action as homecoming. He praised him for returning to his root. This is because his late father was a trail blazer in Omu-Aran in many fields, most especially education.

He lauded Engr. Yinka Makanjuola for identifying and pitching tents with the progressives. To him, the ward remains a big family unit.

He charged him to remain committed to the ideals of the party in the quest for the next level of development.
