Nasarawa state Government has unveiled programmes of activities to mark the one Year anniversary of the current administration.
Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, who is the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, announced the planned activities on Friday, during a Media briefing in Lafia.
According to him the state Government would have planned to have an elaborate ceremony but due to the problem of Coronavirus, the Anniversary will be celebrated in low key.
The Committee Chairman pointed out that the one year Anniversary will start with Muslim prayers at the Lafia Central mosque on Friday, follow by Christian prayers on Sunday.
According to him, the state Governor Abdullahi Sule, will have an interactive moment with Journalists in the state, while the state Commissioners will take their separate turns to feature in the Media and respond to questions concerning the scorecards of their various ministries in the past one year.
Akabe stated that the Governor, Abdullahi Sule, will flag off some new projects in the three Senatorial districts of the state,adding that some completed projects will also be commissioned.
He said the governor will make a state wide broadcast during the period.
Akabe who commended Journalists and other citizens of the state for their cooperation and support to the administration in the last one Year, assured that the celebration will be done putting into consideration government directive on the rules to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
