CONAECDA holds maiden State conference in Ilorin

A Non Governmental Organization(NGO) – The Conference of Autochthonous Ethnic Communities Development Associations (CONAECDA) holds its Kwara State maiden conference.

In a press release made available to newsmen in Ilorin by the state Coordinator, Mr. Luke S. Akanbi, the conference would take place at Circular Hotels, Ilorin on Thursday, October 3, 2019 by 10.00 a.m.

According to him, a delegate from the National Secretariat of the organization, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria would be on ground to address possible issues that might arise from the conference.

Members of the Community Development Associations from across the State that have signified interest in the NGO intervention in their communities are expected at the conference

Others include Indigenous Language Development Council members, culture and linguist enthusiasts interested in stemming the extinction of indigenous languages as well as partnering NGOs and individuals with interests in the NGO food and security intervention programmes.

The communique reached at the end of the conference would be useful to the State presentation at the National conference coming up before the end of the month in Jo’s, Plateau State, Nigeria.
