Operatives of Niger State Police arrests IBB University, Lapai robbery suspects.

Operatives of Niger state Police command have arrested and paraded eight suspects who have been terrorising students of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, (IBBU) Lapai.

It was learnt that the recent attack happened in the wee hours of Monday left one of the victims, Abdulhadi Danyay, a 100 Level student of Computer Science with a deep cut in his head.

The main suspects namely, Yakubu Isah Kopa aged 26 years was identified as the prime suspect who attacked the victim who is still battling to survive at the IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna.

While parading the suspects on Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muhammad Abubakar said investigations are ongoing.

According to him “our officers in Lapai Division, arrested these suspects linked to several robbery attacks in Lapai especially the University.

“They are Ahmed Kamaldeen, 23years, Mohammed Ahmed Hassan, 21years, Victor John Dizawo, 21years, Abdulrahman Solomon Baje, 24years, Hassan Suleiman 22years, Yakubu Isah Kopa 26years, David Solomon 29 years and Umar Abdulkareem Sani 21years.”
